Time for a recap of the week........

On Tuesday we learned about Sharing. All the kids brought a toy to share during circle time. The kids really like this. It was nice to have some boy toys to play with. (Not all this pink, girlly stuff). It was a shorter lesson but they all were better about sharing during free play. For our craft we folded paper and split in half to share with a partner and then we all shared ideas to draw on the paper.

Today, we learned about Winter. we watched a few online stories: Rumble Grumble Gurgle Roar and Penguin, Penguin. I was told by the kids that they have already seen them. So sorry for a repeat kids. Next, we moved to building our own penguins. We also learned a poem. I had the kids hold up their snowflakes as we were counting out the numbers.

One little snowflake with nothing to do
Along came another, and
Then there were two.

Two little snotflakes laughingwith me.
Along came another, and
Then there were three.

Three little snowflakes looking for some more.
Along came another, and
Then there were four.

Four little snowflakes dancing a jive.
Along came another, and
Then there were five.

Five little snowflakes having so much fun.
Out came the sun, and
Then there were none!
